Restorations

Fillings

A filling is used to repair a tooth that has decay, cracks, or fractures. The decayed or damaged portion of the tooth will be removed and filled with a composite filling. This filling material is the same color as your tooth, making it undetectable.

Fillings can be used to repair chipped, decayed, or worn teeth. They can also be used to restore cracked or broken teeth.

Crowns

A crown is a covering that encases the entire tooth surface restoring it to its original shape and size. This protects and helps strengthen the tooth structure. Crowns are places when fillings and other types of restorations will not help the tooth.

Porcelain crowns are tooth-colored and are undistinguishable from other teeth. They are extremely durable and will last many years. Porcelain crowns are usually needed in the event of broken teeth, decayed teeth, large or fractured fillings, and teeth that have an existing root canal.

We are able to offer same-day crown deliveries in our Villages office. In our Ocala office, one of our trusted labs makes your crown while we place a temporary. This temporary is able to last several weeks while your crown is being made and looks just like your other teeth.

Bridges

A dental bridge is a non-removable appliance that is used to replace missing teeth. These bridges resemble your natural teeth. They are highly durable and last several years. If you have missing teeth, causing open space in your mouth, a dental bridge may be a good option.

Dental bridges can help restore chewing and speaking ability, restore a smile, maintain facial shape, and prevent other teeth from drifting our of position.

Implants

Dental implants can help replace missing teeth and can be a good alternative to having a removable partial or complete denture. Implants are artificial teeth that are surgically places in the upper or lower jaw bone by a dentist or periodontist. The teeth that are made to attach to the implant are very natural looking and are indistinguishable from your other teeth. They can help restore or enhance your smile!

Dental implants are commonly used when a patient needs to replace one or more missing teeth without affecting the adjacent teeth. They can help resolve joint pain or bite issues, restore chewing, speech, and a smile!

Dentures and Partial Dentures

A denture is a removable appliance used for the replacement of missing teeth. They are made to closely resemble your natural smile. Complete dentures are used when all of the teeth are missing. Partial dentures are used when some of the natural teeth remain. A Partial fills in spaces caused by missing teeth and prevents other teeth from shifting.
